Founded in 1985, the Dallas Women’s Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profitorganization operating as a community foundation. Granting $2 million annually, the Dallas Women’s Foundation has invested over $13 million in more than 950 organizations, primarily in Dallas, Denton and Collin counties, assisting more than a quarter of a million of the regions’ women and girls. The Dallas Women’s Foundation is part of a global network of 150 women’s funds, and it is one of the largest in terms of investment assets.
 
The Dallas Women's Foundation is at the center of a huge ripple effect.  Our focus is on lifting the community.  An investment in women - more than any other - is the fastest and surest way to strengthen the entire community.  When you help a woman, you help her entire family.  When you assist a family to break the cycle of poverty, you improve the entire community.
